Proprietors – Carole & Todd Rowe
Carole (Bradshaw) is the 4th generation member of a family business started in 1895. When Peter Watson, an early Stratford businessman passed away, undertaker J.L. Bradshaw was asked to dispose of the stock in Watson’s china shop. J.L. Bradshaw (Carole’s great grandfather) became so interested in the business that he decided to purchase it himself and carry on under the name Bradshaw’s China Hall. The business remained in the Bradshaw family until it was sold in 1975. Ten years later, David Bradshaw (Carole’s father) opened a new china & glassware business at the 84 Ontario St. location and named it after the original purveyor of china & crockery, Peter Watson.
Carole and Todd are proud to continue selling tableware, houseware and gifts on the main street of Stratford.
